BADAC Functionality Audit

Welcome to the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) platform.

The Barangay Functionality Audit, anchored on the Department of Interior and Local Government, and Dangerous Drugs Board Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2018-01 (May 21, 2018), is the DILG's standard parameter for the functionality and effectiveness of local anti-drug abuse councils in provinces, cities, municipalities, and barangays.

BADAC aims to repress illegal drugs in the country, for a healthier community.

It is composed of the Punong Barangay as the Chairperson, Barangay Kagawad as the Vice Chairperson (Chairperson of Barangay Peace and Order), and seven (7) members: (a) Barangay Kagawad (Chairperson of Women and Children), (b) Executive Officers (Barangay Tanod), (c) SK Chairperson, (d) School principals or representatives, (e) Chief police or representative, and (g) Faith-Based Organization Representatives.
